negative battery cable

Hey guys,

Another question for your expert opinion. I am trying to replace my negative battery cable. But I cant seem to get the bolt off the bottom of the engine block. Is there any other place I can mount my new cable to or is that it. My cable is worn and corroded.

btw, its an 89 LX V8

any bolt of the same size thats bolted into the block will work.i have used a manifold bolt in the past.

try heating the bolt with a torch and cooling it with water a few times
