Negative Effects of "Dumps"?

I have an almost bone stock 93 Notch.
Only mods are pulleys, 4.10 gears and flowmaster cat back.

The drone of the flowmasters is getting old... and the system is pretty rusted and poorly welded.

Ive seen the MAC Pro Dumps and those look nice.

But I have a few questions...

1. Will the dumps make the inside of the car smell like exhaust?
2. How will I get emissions done with the dumps on? (2 years from now)
3. How loud will the dumps be compared to the flowmaster cat back?
4. What kind of tone do the Pro Dumps make? (raspy or throaty)

Thanks, just want to get some opinions before I spend the money.

Well in VA when they do emissions they hook a sensor to the tailpipe...

Just wondering how they will do that if there arent any tailpipes, just dumps under the car...

So will the car be much louder from outside of the car?
Dont want to wake up the whole community...

Will I notice any performance differences by going to the MAC Pro Dumps?

mine seem to drone a little around town with my 2.73's but with 4.10's you should get into a rpm range that is better. i dont have a gassy smell from my dumps, that came from a bad seal on my tank.

you could keep your flows
cut off the tail pipes and make your own turndowns. or even take it to an exhaust shop will do it for a decent price, like 20$

turndowns sound much better i think. me my friend and couple 5.0 guys i know have them, me and one guy dont even have turndowns, just straight muffler. Cars are damn loud inside and out.

then i know a person who has a mustang with bbk headers, offroad h and flows with tailpipes, car is SO QUIET at idle, opens up more at WOT and sounds nice.

i think you'll like a dumped exhaust, sound better imo. everyone tells me my car sounds real good, but i have never heard my car drive, i've been the one driving it, only hear it idle from the outside.
its not loud enough to get pulled over. its not like open headers or anything, now thats loud

i remember when i first heard my car before i bought it, it was LOUD and it would make that "noise" in your ear, and made your voice sound funny.

but now i am used to it and its not so bad.

how much is quite a bit louder? Like twice as loud?

Loud enough to get pulled over? lol
they make the exhasut beat the ground rather then to just coming out the back.
it carrys more i think.

When a dumped mustang and tail pipe mustang are parked beside each other(both runnin) and the tails car shut off u cant tell it cause the dump car are louder then it.(or at least i cant tell it shut off)

it will be quite a bit louder, but its not like omgomg loud

i doubt the neighbors or the cops will really care

worst i've ever done is set off some car alarms driving like 15mph in an apartment plaza

I just dont want to get pulled over for it...

will it really be that loud with a stock engine, headers, cam?

I want it to sound nice but not obnoxious...

My car with shorty headers, o/r x-pipe, flowmasters and dumps sounds whisper quite at idle and around town, but as soon as I open her up she will roar. I get a lot of compliments on the way it sounds, not just like any other flowmaster equipped mustang.

I did get a that damn gassy smell in my car, which sucks so much I think I will go back to a full exhaust.
