Well after 3 years I am finally gonna fire my car up on Saturday. And I got the jitters....

What do you guys look for during your intial startup?

I am estatic but really nervous. Its funny I used build diesel motors and would fire them right up I would always be a little nervous but would alway remember it wasnt my money. Now Im ****ting a brick

I couldn't wait to start mine up after more than 4 years of building. I just made sure everything was tight, necessary fluids are in (engine oil, tranny fluid, coolant, rear end fluid, etc), check your connections again. Most importantly have confidence in yourself and your build project. Whatever comes up if anything you already have the knowledge to make adjustments. Even though you have confidence, keep a fire extinguisher near or have water ready, just to be prepared. Good Luck!

Having coinfidence NOW wont change whether or not the car fires up
If he messed up, he messed up. (just using some reverse psychology..lol)

BTW...you up for a trip to Towers tomorrow?

Call me if so... If I didnt have to get my car ready for the painter, I would like to go there to watch the action..make sure you video it!!
