Hey guys, went to Orlando friday night and showed a little improvement with no changes to the car. It was 63 degrees and dry out.

Heres my two slips
First Run Second Run
RT .768 .829
60' 2.666 2.240
330 6.950 6.245
1/8 10.309 9.552
MPH 74.58 75.39
1000 13.126 12.349
1/4 15.526 14.739
MPH 94.18 94.45

Im still running Walmart American Eagles as tires on the back :nonono: Other than buying real tires, any other critiques that can be deciphered from these numbers as to where I need to improve.? Only my second time out at the races, and I did have my 125lb wife riding with me on both runs. :rlaugh: Also, how come with a almost 1 second better time on the second run, was my mph so close to the first run

MPH is directly related to weight and power. ET is based on traction and gearing, plus power. NORMALLY your trap speed will remain fairly consistent despite your ET. FOr a long time people said that if you spun off the line your trap speed would go up, and that if you hooked it would go down. I have seen this in other people's cars, but in my land barge it seems the harder I hook and get out of the hole, the more my MPH goes up. Without your wife in the car you should see a 1-1.5mph increase in trap speed given the same weather conditions.

id imagine youd pick up a tenth as well as a mph if the wife wasnt in the car. not bad times at all, and believe me, they will get better with experience. btw, what was your previous best time?

Previous best time was 15.08 in damp misty conditions. Next time the wife is getting the boot. :nice:
