those times still dont add up to me. 81mph means you are making serious hp if your not spinning, have you had the car dynoed?

my car(s) ran similar times with similar sixty foots with a 75-76mph area. Your mph is indicitive that your car is making 40-50hp more than what my car did with similar mods if you had a good DA, which I did.

Most cars with your trap speed and sixty foot run 8.5-8.7's. 9.07 is extremely high, which common sense leads one to believe the mph is inaccurate, not your ET.

To date, your car is the fast MPH stock head/cam/intake car if that is true. The 4 fastest cars and mph have head, cam or intake work. Your car is 2 mph faster than the fastest stock NPI head/cam/intake car that I know of.

^ He could be a very poor driver with a powerful engine? Slow shifting will kill ET.

edited my last post,

also, the 330' track time is 5.92 and the et is 9.07.

Mathematically its almost impossible with to runs those numbers at 81mph. You will cross the traps much lower than a 9.07 with that mph and not spinning.

Im def. not doubting your times or saying that I dont believe your et. I think your ET is accurate. However, the difference between your 76mph run against the bullitt and 81+mph is 50hp or so, much much more than a few bolt ons will provide. Its just unheard of for an NPI car with stock heads, cams, intake and weight with street tires to mph that high unless it has a ton of weight reduction

not trying to be rude either, proboly was at first which I apologize..... you obviously ran a 9.07, but the math on the mph doesnt add up to me. I hope others will chime in and give a possible explanation for the mph.

No no problem at all, i was just wanting to show evidence that i wasnt like the newbs on here and claim they run things they dont, i been here for 4 years and dont wont to hurt my rep if you know what i mean. You are a cool guy I dont really understand it ethier but my 98 has always run good for some reason. When i was dumb and used to street race i could beat 99+ all day and i never understood why lol

^ Did you buy this car new? If not how do you know it really has NPI heads, or that the heads are not ported.
