new 2011 smaller than my old 06?

I went to an auto show yesterday and sat in a 2011 GT. I couldn't get the seat to go far enough back to allow me to sit comfortably under the steering wheel and work the foot controls. I was curious because in my 06, my 32 inch legs fit fine. Even my 6'4"" son can fit in the 06 if he moves the seat back. In the 06, the front seat almost touches the back seat (maybe 1" to spare). I couldn't get the 2011 seat to go back that far.

Was that seat broken or do the new mustangs have less leg room than the older ones?

I'm 6' with a 32 inch leg! LOL and when I have my seat all the way back I can't depress the clutch without moving forward on the seat!!

I also have a 32" "inseam", and I have to move the seat up to press the clutch. I'm wondering what kind of '11 you were sitting in to have to move the seat all the way back? Someone had to do some kind of mod to cause that issue.

I'm 6'2" and I have to move the seat up to effectively work the clutch. My biggest complaint is that the power seats don't have a power switch for the seat back recline. That's just lame.
