I went to buy a 2012 GT, they only had v6, BEFORE I test drove, I figured w/all positive stuff I've heard, just buy it & I'd be happy---I drove v6--I wasn't impressed w/v6.
The deal I 'm getting is this: I'm trading in my 2008 Honda accord(4cyl.5speedManual--30k miles)---they're giving me 15k for my Honda(I paid 21k new for Accord, 3 yrs. ago)--I felt 15k was very reasonable....so, with trade-in, I'm giving them $15,800. + 2008 Honda=$30,800(including TAX & Tags)..Thats the deal I'm gettin, IF I LIKE the GT(that includes $1000. discount). I'll find out in 4 hours(they open at 9 am)& they're gettin GT from another dealer(100 miles away).
I tried to have them lower price(I think invoice is 27,900)--BUT, w/my 15k trade in, they wouldn't go any lower(I dont think I blame them)I thought 15k was good for trade in...any comments??

My trade was paid for,i knew what it was worth,my credit was stellar.I ended up getting a great deal, the salesman treated me with respect, didn't try and run my trade into the ground.I returned the respect and didn't rake him over the coals,i was happy,he was happy, the seas parted, the sun came out and it was a happy day.

that made me laugh. congrats on your car, enjoy!
