Yeah, I expect mine will go at some point with the Nittos. Oh well.

Go to Jackie Chan's links. He posted running 18 lbs in the stock tires. That would help.Side0ut said:Ok.. I agree that I need to learn how to drive better with the 4.10 gears. I will also try pulling off the Maf and returning it back to stock with a dropin K&N filter. One of the reasons I kept all the stock parts and did not sell anything on Ebay. I may have been venting a little bit since I was hoping to finally get into the 13's but did worse. The $400+ for the gears kinda hurt also, but hopefully with practice, I can get the gains I was hoping for with them. Since I have stock tires instead of $700 for tires right now, any advice would be appreciated on how to launch to get 2.0 or lower 60ft times. Also, when I shift from 1st to 2nd, what rpm so that I don't spin again?
Thanks
on him running with an LS1. Speaking of which, how the hell do you run a 14.2 in a damn LS1? For crying out loud, my dog could do that with all four legs tied together.Go HoTO! said:1 - When you race, make sure you correct your times for barametric pressure, temp, humidity, and altitude. If you don't know how to do this, I can point you in the right direction. This way you will know how you are really running.
there were quite a few ls1's running 14's at the track when i went last wednesday and a couple of them running low 13's on spray, so would you call bs on me running a second faster than ls1's and with sprayed ones?GinoGT said:I'm surprised nobody's calledon him running with an LS1. I think there's a hell of a lot of people over there that need to learn how to drive.

You need to sign up first to be a member, then on top, click on the "My ET's" tab and simply start inputing the figures. You will need the data for the days your were driving. At my track, everything is on my time slip except for track altitude which the track will know if you ask them.
One of my friends in another state logs on to the weather channel and gets old weather data for the dates and times he was driving since his track does not display the data on his slip.
In this way, you may actually have slower times, but running faster when the times are corrected.
Try it out.

) and just shift like crazy LOL.Gears should have helped at least a little even with the spin...I suggest some suspension work if it is stock, as well as some 315s out back, they should help QUITE a bit on the launch but wont help the topend pull any...probably hurt it a little.BTW get rid of that C&L, that seems to be your problem...if its not then maybe they installed the gears REALLY tight and didnt replace the shims.
Any noise coming from the rear end? With 3.73s all you have to do is swap the shims...well thats what we did in the 00 V6...works like a charm.
