ANYBODY WHO HAS BUILT A 5.0, DID YOU RUN IT WITH CARBS OR FUEL INJECTION?? I'M RUNNING MINE WITH A PAXTON SUPERCHARGER AND HAVE NOT DECIDED MY FUEL SET UP YET. WHAT IS BETTER FOR THE STREET AND/OR STRIP. I PREFER IT TO HAVE STREET MANNERS WITH OCCASIONAL DRAG STRIP TIME. ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED. THANKS.

Surprisingly carbed blower/turbo setups are starting to become more and more popular. If your not going to get a manangement system or at least a chip then a carb setup is going to be the only real way to tune it propperly (with jets).

But like mentioned above if your wanting all around streetability, gas miliage, and still have a tough setup then you need a manangement system and go EFI.

Draw backs to efi are the COSTS, and you lose some potential power that you would get with a carb.

Draw backs for carbs are that tuning can be difficult especially throughout the entire range of rpms.
