A new batch of 05's GT's started showing up in local dealer inventories yesterday, about 9 of them in all. One had the sport appearance package and the other 8 had no upgrade package. All the existing ones with the IUP are selling for 4K over MSRP now.

There should be lots more '05 Mustangs arriving soon. Reports are that almost 39,000 of them had been built before the Xmas holiday shut down and that AAI is now ramped up to full production speed which is 1,000 Mustangs per day! [nice]

I wonder if this is going to be a hard to get collector car option?? Or if this is just the rumormill at work??
IMO they have already produced way too many Mustangs with IUP for it to become a collector car option, even if they stopped right now.

On top of that, the aftermarket already has the IUP pieces available for purchase, so you can roll your own.

What is IUP?

I haven't seen a new 05 on the street. I have not seen a new GT in person either. The two local Ford dealers each got one v6 and both are gone. So I am still waiting.

Interior Upgrade Package.

I have seen 3 or 4 here in Tucson and drove one in Phoenix. :)

Oologah but I'm in Owasso quite a bit. My girlfrind drives the 04 Red Mach and I drive the 03 Azure Blue but I'm usually in my 01 Neon to keep the miles off of it. Cooper and United have quite a few but you have to talk them down. They've been after me hard after test driving them but there's no way I'd trade. I see more 05's now than the Mach's. It's going to be a great platform though and I can't wait until the LE's cars come out.

Kloogy, if your looking for a fully loaded GT sitting on the lot down here in San Diego your probably not going to find one :bang: Your best bet would be to order one. I ordered mine from Mossy, it took seven weeks, but they didn't try charging me more than MSRP. Good luck.
