Went to Piedmont drags (1/8th mile) today for a little test and tune. The first couple of runs were way off my best 8.12, then I finally put down a quality run. Now I am so close to 7's I can taste it. If I get this stupid TKO600 faceplated so I can shift into 3rd without granny shifting that alone should do it.

I started out running low-mid 8's, then finally nailed this one. It slipped a bit on 1-2, so I tried lowering air pressure from 17.5 to 16 but the two runs after that the tires bit during the burnout before getting any smoke off them, and it spun off the line.
Not too bad driving to the track in street trim, power leather, AC and all. Running MT ET Street radials and finally had a fun day. To make it better I kept getting lined up with an old GSX Mopar that ran 8.1x, so it made for some heads up.
