Well its been about 3 years sense ive taken the stang to the track. I went to Pacific raceways today and ran an 11.98 at 120.2 mph with a 1.9 60'. The track was packed, ive never seen it that bad. Ill be out there more often now try to get some better tire and go for low 11's! Nice seeing you Stock50lx!

Those times will drop with better tires. You have more power than me, and I run 1.55 60 ft times. You have the power to run low 11's. Just buy some ET Streets and you are there! I think you should get the 27 inch diameter ones. They'll cut your gear ratio just a little. Congrats on reaching your goal on the first day! You'll need a new goal now.

You should be excited. Mile per hour is impressive. Appears there is more in her:nice:

Thanks Guys yeah im happy about the MPH i want to see a low 11 time. I was using M/T Sportman pro i think. Runing 30 psi cause i needed to drive it home. I would quickly slip the clutch at 3500. Even with a longer 2nd gear burnout they still let go pretty easy. Im almost out of gear at the end, i rev to about 6200 and am crossing the line at around 6000. So i guess its perfect for now, will i run out when i get real slick?

I won't be surprise if you run a 11.5 or 11.6 with some taller 27" tires, with your 5 speed lower first gear and 3.73 rear end you must be smoking those tires when the boost comes on now. Most likely pick up couples of miles at the other end too, have a feeling you are out of gear right now at the end of the 1320.

I ran the car the exact way that it was on the dyno. It was dyno'd on a mustang dyno so im sure it would show a little more on a dynojet. Im pretty close to running out of gear, its real close to 6000 when i cross. And yes i am spinning pretty bad off the line. When the boost kicks in the car freaking takes off.

Any idea what she weighs? I have done some weight reduction on my 88 (glass hood, smog, a/c, fog light bar and all the easy stuff) but the damn thing still weights in at over 3400lbs with me in it... it does have a couple of things that add weight though:nice:

3500?!?:jaw:
Based on your trap speed your dyno must have been reading a little low, I would venture to say your closer to 500rwhp than to 400rwhp (400rwhp sounded low with 12psi and the trick flow heads and a cam)... Put her on a diet and get some good tires and you might be able to see a high 10 out of that car with some good driving.
