12.85 @ 105 with a 1.85 60'. Will be swapping out the 3.73’s for 4.10’s and hoping to cut my 60’s down. Enjoy

we have alost the exact same time, i went 12.81@108 w/1.80 60"

I'd love to trap @ 108! Maybe with some colder air and 4.10's I'm also trying to figure out the best time to lock up the converter. Right now I'm locking it up right after it shifts into 3rd.

What size stall and what tires are you running in back? Very nice time!

Its a 3800rpm stall on 26 X 10.5 ET streets. The converter is set up for a 100 shot so I dont think its stalling very high....3200rpm max.

i consistantly trap 107-108, but i once or twice i went 109.x, im hoping with this edelbrock intake and cooler air to trap 110+

yeah you deffently need more gear, i dropped 3 tenths going from 373's to 4.30's..........

Very nice. That combination just works.
I bet it'll work even better with a small shot of nitrous. Spray off the line and see what she does. I gained .7s and 5mph with a 35 shot on my 2.3, spraying off the line. It's really fun how much looser the converter gets too. With the foot brake, I can only get 2400rpm, but on launch with a little spray, it runs right up to 3500sih.

BTW, What are you stalling at?

Sounds like your brake stalling rather high, 3k...?

Yea I had my best results brake stalling it around 3k. I tried flashing it off the line but was only pulling 1.96 60’s. A trans brake would make it allot easier but there so expensive.

BTW, when are you locking up your converter??

Yep this was from our track day a couple of weeks ago. To bad you sold your car, we would have had an awsome grudge match.

cool, try stalling at 2500, that's worked great for me...cut 1.7x 60's consistenly...best of a 1.71

As for the converter locking up, it locks in both second and third gear as soon as each gear goes in.

Well the times are nice and its a sweet looking ride. I would be happy as hell with a high 12 time slip.
