http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/01/07/detroit-2006-chevrolet-camaro-concept-revealed/

It was on Road & Tracks website this morning, but they removed it.

For the lazy, it's set for a 2008-2009 release, and here's a pic.

I think the ass end is hot. But the front could use some work.

I would buy it if they kept the LS2 pushrod engine in it. I like the new Mustang but would never purchase one with the current drivetrain.

More I look the more I agree on the front...Looks more like a touring coupe than musclecar that it should...Like the lines but the nose doesn't work to me...Sorta like the GTO...Nice but doesn't say GTO to me...

You can bet your ass it'll have a stout small block in it... Like stuff the new Z06 motor in it...

can you say ZL1. a camaro with an all aluminum 427 deserves that name.

I like that a hell of a lot more than the challenger. I LOVE the side and rear, the front could use a little tweaking though as others have said.

Now the front end of Mikes pic looks like crap. We can all agree on that I hope. The side does look pretty nice though, I'll give it that. Rio's pics look much better all around, even the second one down that stole the Vettes tail lights (Agreed?y/n?)

If it comes with a SLA front and 3link/panhard bar rear suspension weighing in at around 3200lbs (like bimmertech suggested) the thing would be absolutly killer. Now it also would be like $40k+ with all that jazz even with a pushrod engine but think of the power to weight ratio, especially after modded-unbelievable! You all know what though?

The KKK will spearhead our country before those rednecks get a Camaro like that. It looks hot with big rims but we know its going to come with nothing larger than 19's and those would be a special option-prob 18's stock for the v8, 17's or less for the six.

I hope their production factory catches on fire and Camaros never come back. They have sucked ass since 1969.

This new camaro is fugly. I'm still stunned about how it looks. Ridiculous.

The Challenger rocks IMO. ---------> MOPAR = Teh Win

It's different. That's the cool thing about concepts, they can be really different. But then the reality of Federal standards take over when the production model starts being designed. I'm sure that front end will be changed for the production model. I don't see that pointy nose surviving a 5mph bump. Then again I don't see the 'stoner' look of the Challenger concept making it to production either. Nothing like broken headlights from a parking lot bump.
