New clutch

Hey all, I have an '89 LX and I need a new clutch. What should I look for in one? I looked up the part on Murrys Auto Parts (local stores where I'm at) and I found them ranging from $120 to just under $300. So I'm not really sure which one to pick. The car is a daily driver if that matter, but as time goes on I'll continue to add performance mods. Thanks.

Depending on how serious you get with mods later on, a King Cobra clutch should suit 90% of folks' needs on here just fine. Not much more firm pedal effort than stock, grabs and holds nicely, and won't break the piggy bank. You can score 'em just about anywhere online - don't bother with the parts-store OEM replacement clutch kits, they cost almost the same and are pretty crappy, overall. Make sure you have your flywheel resurfaced or replaced when you do the clutch swap.

yeah go with the king cobra clutch. i have it on my DD and its not much stiffer than stock and still holds well at the track.
