Hey guys, finally made it up to dez racing for my dyno tune... We trailered it up this time, and towed it with my friends new denali with 22's lol, we were towing in style.. i have a pic of it ill get up later..

It made 419/440 off the trailer..After some tuning and changing the air intake we saw 438/476. Im very happy so far with it. He thinks the 3 inch pvc intake is a major restriction, so ill be going back up with a 4 inch settup and he wants to pull one of the 1 inch spacers. He said he can almost gurantee 450/490, which would be ideal.. There was still some spots in the air/fuel ratio to lean out, so there is more power out on the table now..

He was bringing it up to 6100ish RPM's, he thinks the two 1inch spacers is making the power the power drop off early. So ill be yanking 1 spacer for next time and see if it does make a difference or not...

Id like to show you guys the dyno sheet, but it flew out the window on the ride home LOL, i gotta call him tomorrow to email it to me...

He also said that the motor is silky smooth and that whoever built the shortblock knew what they were doing, so props to moneypit!!

Well now its time to get out to the track, hopefully ill be able to go tomorrow night.. Only thing is that i know ill be running out of gear with the 3.90's...

That's real good. I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow. If you go, I'll take the night off working on the car and come up to the track.

On the street its just insane, the power comes in so fast and hard, its nutz.. I love it!

Man, thats crazy. I bet its nice to stomp on it and not worry about detonation and head gaskets. And to have the power come in earlier and and without any help...damn. I bet your torque curve is flat as a board.

Sorry Mr. T-5, time to die.

Dying to see the dyno curve, FTI curves are absolutely sick. I bet that she could hit tens like nothing if its similar to Killer's dyno sheet.

What are you running for a clutch? Does it slip at all when you stomp on it?

well no track tonite, rain

sleepy - yea it is nice not worrying about detonation, i love being n/a!! Yea the torque curve is nice..

Troy - One of the 1 inch spacers is part of the intake... Ed wanted me to start with the other one as well just to see how it works out, then take it out if need be. Switching over to it is just like any other intake manifold, except all the vac line ports are on the right side of the intake.

gts - The clutch is some no name brand valeo or something.. Its been in the car since before i bought it and ive never had any problems with it, 40k+ miles and many hard launchs last year. Its been good so far with this engine, tire spin is the major problem now.. Hopefully ill have the dyno sheets tomorrow if the tuner has time to fax/email em to me.
