So this summer my dad and I will be rebuilding my car...
My car is a 91 LX Notch 5.0 that is super close to stock. I have an off-road H, and my stereo... other than that, all original. Car now has 151k on it. It has done me well... This car will remain to be my daily driver... I don't race it... it is slow, but I don't care. I love my car...

Anyway... I was wanting to know what you guys think of the Ford Racing 302ci / 345hp GT-40 Aluminum Head Engine... Have you had any problems or complaints... is this a good motor for a dd? Let me know! Thanks!!!

from what i read, back when i had my fox. it is a decent engine. seemed to be reliable, except it wasnt making the power claimed.

personally, if you want some more power and a budget build. i would get the trickflow kit. has everything you need from a bare shortblock to get the car running and costs about 2 grand.

if you just want better performance in general and the easiest swap, the longblock will be the easiest. has the warranty on there also.

next easiest inline would be the trickflow kit, then you could go with a custom h/c/i combo on your own.
