New engine oil pressure

I just primed my 347 after I rerouted all the wires to inside the fenders. With the key on and a cordless drill turning the oil pump shaft I'm getting halfway between half and full on the stock OP gauge. My question will this pressure drop a little when the car is actually running?

oh no, please hook up a real gauge, at least initially. you must have a strong cordless drill.

I have a mech autometer coming but not here yet. YA....its a 14.7 B&D firestorm cordless.....works awsome.
