New engine Q's

Just got to drive in the 350 stroker today for the first time. The cam really makes the idle jump around. Its the first day I ran this so do you think the cam just needs to adjust to the computer for a day or so? Sometimes at a stoplight it will stall if I let it idle. Don't have the specs on me right now and I know it wont help much, sorry. Any ideas?
EDIT: Didnt get to hook up the MSD box and coil yet.

The computer wont adjust for the cam but you probably need to get it tuned.

Yeah take it and get a good tune, will wake it up big time
