Just built a fresh 2000 moutianeer 5.0 short block then added cast iron gt-40 heads that were gone through by a machine shop. I also added a b-cam with 1.7 roller rockersbut cant get the damn thing to run right. Tried all different firing orders, moved it a tooth each way (didnt help). Any ideas please help before i blow up this pos.

You said you can't get it to run "right". Guess that means it is actually running?
I assume you got the timing chain on right and it sounds like you are using a distributor (off 180degrees)?
Is the firing order the same for that engine as a normal 5.0? Not familiar with that cam either. You all ready know it's all in the timing like life.
