Finished making my homemade CAI for the fox setup. Decided to go with a 4" pipe. I still need to do something with the wiring for the TPS as it's kinda ghetto fabbed right now.

im glad to see the rubber elbows work nice...because one of the things holding me back from the fox setup was what i was going to do with my cold air intake....btw...i know i should just search...but how much was the final cost of the fox swap??

Anthony

Anthony- I got pretty much all the parts from a guy that was parting out his fox. I got a throttle cable, cruise control cable, throttle cable bracket, TPS, IAC, and a stock TB and EGR plate for $70. Then the Accufab TB was $200.

Looks good Jake.

Did you ever figure out of the cruise hook up from the Fox works on our cars? I'm still not sure if I want to swap yet, but one of my main concerns about doing the swap is still retaining cruise control.

It looks good Jake. Why did you decide not to put it in the fenderwell? Would the 80mm not fit? I see you put the ECT right after the MAF. Is there no relationship as far as distance is conserned with the ECT?

Joe, do you cruise control very much? It sort of freaks me out driving a 5-speed.

Mike, since May 2003 (the last time the oil was changed) I drove the car 850 miles. I don't usually have the opportunity to use cruise control that much. :D

I am a very particular person, and I don't do anything half-assed or rigged. If I'm going to lose cruise control, I'm not doing it, and that's all there is to it.

Plus, I'm still not a believer in the Fox swap anyway...

To each his own I guess. I myself never use cruise control so I wouldn't mind giving it up for more power. I too would like to see some before and after FOX-swap numbers to see how much it really helps. I does seem to help a boosted motor though. Eades seems to be making more boost faster with the new setup.

I haven't hooked up cruise yet, but it looks like it could be done. I just have other stuff to get done before next weekend. I have a fox cruise cable so I may try it. I am still going to redo those TPS wiring, cuz right now it's hardwired, so I have to remove the TPS sensor everytime I want to take off the TB or upper.

Well I have zero hard evidence, but I had the car at 16* for about a week which seemed to be the sweet spot. And then I did the fox swap and set the timing back to 10* for the tweecer and I could feel a real difference in the car. It was very noticeable, that is all I'll say.
