Yep. I finally got a hold of matching rear seats.

Considering this was my first time removing the rear seat, I must say it was a big PITA. I cut three of my fingers while trying to unscrew a couple bolts. A well, at least I saved money not paying a shop to do it.

Haha, yeah when I was swapping my own Cobra rear seats in those bolts were a ******! So I went to Sears and bought an open-end wrench in that particular size, made it much easier!

Seats look good, they really compliment the tan interior, I usually do not like tan interiors but yours looks very clean!

Looks good!

But you think THATS tough?? Today I put my rear seats back in after looking 90% of the fastening hardware when I moved. So I had to figure out what sizes I needed, etc...oh yeah then the little plastic bushings that go on the back rest portion where the bolts are wedged between the trim piece and seat got lost, so I had to fabricate some replacements outa washers, steel pipe stock, and lots of careful little welds :p But now my car has rear seats :)

Thanks guys.

What made mine really tough was a wire (probably from Mach 1000) running through the trim piece (upper seat) got in the way. Normally, you can remove the whole seat and trim. But I was unable to remove that piece because of the wire, so I had to keep the trim and remove the seat padding instead. The bolts holding the padding was so tight, while trying to unscrew my hand slipped, hit the sharp trim and cut my fingers. I still have a couple minor treaking to do but at least I've gotten the difficult part finished.

^ Um why? I bought this before the 03 Cobras came out. #2, My car was paid off three years ago. And there are liek, fifty 03 Cobras in my area but zero modded 2Vs like mine. And I could care less about value because I dont ever plan on selling this.

I couldn't agree more. I wish someone like you would have convinced me to do the same thing 4 years ago. Now i'm on my third mustang and still paying the bank for it:bang:

Seats look great. I think the rears match even better than the fronts (if that is possible). Your car is seriously coming along. Every time I look here or on MPH, you have more and more mods.

Too bad you don't have a vert. Rear seats come out with 2 clips and 4 bolts. Takes about 10 minutes if you are a dummy... lol.
