She is almost ready!!
Ok, i got her home this weekend. Thanks to a $100 tow. i noticed it has a Magnaflow cat back system in all stainless.. I love the 2" eibach drop springs> it makes it look sick..
Got my hood and tail lights on. Washed and cleaned up outside and under hood. Put in new battery,spark plugs and plug wires. Put some alcohol in the tank, gas treatment and 10gallons of supreme. It cranked right up too. Ran fine for about an hour then got a check engine light and now it almost dies when you put it in gear and sometimes does..
I am going today and having the motor oil changed (I have a engine cleaner additive in it right now), transmission flushed and radiator flushed.
The power steering pump is whining and barely works. It full of nasty looking fluid. What to do besides replace it?
When i bought the car the guy said the trans was slipping in first gear only
But its not slipping its just very slugish in 1st gear. i think the converter is staying locked up and thats why it dies in first and I have the check engine light.:dunno
what you guys think?
Oh and will 275/40ZR17 tires fit in the back with these bullets and not rub?
I would like to add that I am more in love with this car then any other vehicle I have owned(37 total). I went pic crazy with the camera so I am gonna whore out a bunch of pics ..LOL
I had 5 people ask me if i wanted to sell it yesterday> all within about 1 hour of finishing her up..
I am adding a battery kill switch that has a key today. My only other fool proof antitheft idea is get a detachable steering wheel but what about my cruise control?
