NEW HEADS AND CAM!!

Well the wait is finally over for me. I just got my AFR 165cc heads and comp cam in this weekend. :D I'm still tweaking the timing, idle, and fuel pressure but I am really happy with it. I was suprised how well my computer is adapting to the change. She really sounds nasty now. The best part is I ran my buddy with a '02 z28 who runs 12.9 in the 1/4. Without mine really tuned well I pulled on him pretty hard out of the hole until about 90 :nice: when he started to come back a little but we had to brake because of a turn. Too bad the tracks around me are closed for the winter :bang: Oh well it will give me time to save some money and get some slicks because traction has DEFINATELY become a big issue. haha

sorry but I don't have the specs to the cam with me the're in the car but I picked the cam out of an article in a ford magazine. I know the lift is .544 with the stock 1.7 cobra rocker arms. Its not real aggresive but seems to make good power from about 2,000 to 5,800 or so. I haven't had it dynoed or anyhting yet but before the heads and cam I put down 248hp and 300tq so I'm hoping for 300hp now. I'm still running my stock cobra upper and lower intake manifold and I want to get them port and polished which should give me some more umph. I'll get back to ya on the cam
