hello. i am from germany and i have a "new " car: ford mustang lx convertible 2.3 1988. i want to restore the car so it gets the oldtimer licence. what is the ax in the nummer:
1FABP44AXJF21...!
the color is white with blue interieur. is the white color the original? where can i find the original color?

I think that's the motor code. Normally with a 5.0, the 8th digit is E. The J is model year (bau jahr). I live in Grafenwoehr. Where are you?

Sounds like you need to help him with a V8 swap.

Other side of Germany, unfortunately. The closest I ever get is Mainz when visiting a friend.
