Not saying that both dont spin, but simply stating that a stock V6 stang, if truely stock, only spins one wheel. So I'm not calling you a liar, just saying some facts in that statement were....eh, wrong.

Off the line or doing a burnout, no the tire doesn't spin. If the car is moving there is a chance that the left tire could spin if the tire doesn't get good traction to begin with.

Nice stangs. Which year is the old one? I'm thinking '67-'69? I'm going to say '68

GASP
Fastbacks are truely for the win, and a 390ci V8 oh yeah. a 67-69 Fastback or 71 Mach I 429 Ram Air is my dream car. I have a 1969 BOSS 302 Fastback in Screaming Yellow with black stripes on my desk.

How possible is it for a V6 to get a GT rear by mistake?
I know screw-ups and factory oddities aren't rare in classics. I'm would think that it might still happen.

KBMWRS,
Welcome to the old&new club! I'm surprised you didn't go for True Blue for a closer match to the '67.

I hope the factory would have screwed up and given me a 4.6...

67-68's are the best looking stangs hands down. 64-66's are sweet, but they are a bit mild looking IMO. 69-70's are sweet also, but can look a tad overdone with a few external mods. Your car is what I want. A 67-68 4-spd fastback w/some decent cubes under the hood

Too bad they don't make trucks on the same line. A 5.4 would be cool.

A 68 Fastback with a 428 Super Cobra Jet would be a sleeper of a car. Damn rare, and hella nice car to cruise in

Nobody ever suspects the hardtop. Plus, they weigh less.
