New Here so here are pics

isnt that a european thing?

i know it may not be what you desired but in the pictures for some reason it looks cool
Yes and no. Over here, we do use much wider tires than we actually have to. People like the full looks. This may not be the best way to go for function though.

I imagine he has those 245s on a x9 rim. This can be acceptable if the rim and tire are suited for this. It looks like they may not be.

Personally, I have 255/40/18 on 18x9 wheels. I did this because this is very close to the stock diameter. It does look slightly stretched, but I feel it's acceptable. It helps that they're sports tires that are wider.

I had 275's in the front before on the 9" rim and although they looked a bit better because they were fuller, they were very hard to drive with on the roads around here. After Hurricane Ivan came through and destroyed the interstate bridge, all the semi's and dump trucks had to use all our regular roads for 2 yrs so now there are grooves from the weight. Those wide tires pulled and jerked me all over the place and did horrible in the rain. This smaller ones up front make it drive like a totally different car. Much easier! :nice:

I'm glad you're being smart about it. Once they do wear out though, try a 255/40 combo. This may look a bit better and still be more driveable. :nice:
