sucks to sell a car... but like bynum said family 1st... you shouldnt have to sell somthing thats paid off tho... just take out a bigger loan... or a less downpayment!! id keep it if i were you... wheel and deal somthing!

the problem I have is that I have to make a mortgage payment and a lease payment for about 3 months together. After three months the lease will be up. My house will be done in about 45 days. In another 45 days I will have my first mortgage. that should be around jan. My lease ends in march. Not that I can't afford the mustang, just need the dough to help me out. $6500 seems a bit much for a mustang that needs paint. But I appreciate the compliment. I wish I could get that. thanks guys for the help. anymore?

thanks guys. My wife saw this and said no, we are not getting rid of it. It isn't that 4-5K will break the bank. Just make life easier for the months I have an extra house payment. I love my car want nothing else to keep it (even with all the headaches). The parts I didn't list that aren't on the car are holley systemax heads, 65 mm tb, explorer intake and a 6g alternator.

I am sure I am just beine premature but I wanted to know what you guys thought I could fetch if push came to shove. I appreciate all you guys chiming in. I will keep you all posted with what I do. More than likely keep it though. I like seeing it in my garage. Keeps me sane on most days.

oh I know. I have bought and sold many cars and I know that you never get what you put in.It isn't finished by any means. Putting a maaco job on it might get a higher price but that is one of the things I want to do myself. I have painted cars in the past and would love to paint this baby.

we'll see what happens. I haven't really touched it for the sole reason that I want to keep her and after the house is done I can put $$ into it.
