Picked up a Weiand Stealth intake today (to replace my Performer 289) and 1 1/8" addco front sway bar. I plan to install these tomorrow, so I'll let ya'll know about the improvements. I also picked up some interior stuff (new dash bezels, a lokar billet shifter boot) and some flowtech glasspacks.

I'm probably going to catch some hell for the glasspacks, but I like that sound and I want a loud, classic muscle car exhaust. They probably won't ge tinstalled for a week or two.

sounds like fun. glasspacks are awsome despite all the crap they take from everyone.

when installing that sway bars its probably a good time to replace all the sway-bar-related bushings. (unless they already were not to long ago )

I 2nd that.

Reminds my of my younger brother the other day. He will have his license in 2 weeks. I am selling him my 82 chev 1/2 ton/350 ci and he wants to cut the exhaust, turn the upper pipes and weld on glasspack. So about a foot of pipe and then glasspacks..thats it. Now that thing is going to be LOUD!!!!

Well, my endlinks were replaced not to long ago. However, the swaybar comes with all new hardware (needs bigger brackets anyways) so I'll replace them again.

No kidding man! To do that, I'd simply have to weld a flange onto the glasspack and bolt it up to the headers. If I did that, I'd lose way to much backpressure. That's the other thing...these are going to vastly improve my exhaust flow over the old no-name turbo mufflers that are on it.

I'll say this about the new intake, I can definitely see how it flows better than the performer 289!
