i tried to search for some of this but i'd like to ask just to make sure...
ok well i had been running rough. i took my car in and the gasket on the intake manifold had leaked coolant onto my number 6 spark plug and killed it. so they replaced the plug and gasket for me. then, 5 days and only 75 miles later, the intake cracks. the real bad thing is it isn't on the coolant crossover passage seam (so not covered by the class action suit). it cracked right where the radiator hose connects (front side, from the top down about an inch). i figured they must've torqued the radiator hose bolts too tight.
well i had to go back to school, but my dad took it back to the dealer who worked on it a week ago and they said it wasn't their fault crapola
given how crappy that plasic intake is i wouldn't be surprised, it just seems like too much of a coincidence for it not to be the bolts being too tight. do you think it could be their fault? not that i'm going to be able to convince them, i just want some closure.
