Hey there Jersey stangers.

I currently live in michigan like 45mins north of detroit. I have somewhat of a job offer pending which requires me to relocate to Holmdel NJ. I was curious what its like out there...whats the standard of living? Is it an expensive area? Whats the weather like ect...

I remember when I was younger my great grandma lived in Sussex county and I remember that it was pretty nice...but that was forever ago.

Anyones help on this would be GREATLY apreciated!

Thanks. Rob.

Holmdel is a nice area, honestly its cheaper and nicer if you go south. Im about 35-40 mins south of holmdel in Toms River, right like by the beach and water and its really nice here. There are some nicer area's in northern jersey but the closer you are to NYC the more $$$$$$ and the crappier it gets.. You could go WAYY north to like vernon, its beautiful there, mountianous and hilly and stuff. I like it where i am, Bricktown is another nice area, also Freehold is a north in that area, another nice town. It's kinda expensive here tho to live, taxes are a lil high and car insurance is kinda high.. house market is coming down now so the house prices are coming down from the insane highness they were... i like it here! plus we got some cool stuff, Raceway park is 30 mins away! :D

Couldnt say it any better....even if u try movin alittle west holmdel like 20 mins it would be pretty inexpensive.....and if u move down here from michigan u'll now have the shore which can be a nice way to spend ur weekends.
