I picked up an issue of 5.0 i think it was the latest issue i'm not sure there was a black cobra on the front doing a burnout if that helps at all. Anyways they have a new design out for the 4.6. its no longer made of plastic. Now its made out of metal and even though it looks identical to the orginal manifold it is suppose to be a 20hp increase. :nice: It is selling for $500 for those that are intersested. Did anyone else hear this?

Do a quick search on this...we had a really good thread going around about this started by HotMustang331. It has links/picks to all the new intakes coming out. Its a good thread to bring back if you find it.

the test was very misleading. it was done on a built shortblock with unknown compression and stage 2 heads and Cams. the hp gain was with the manifold, PP TB and plenum over a stock TB/plenum.

here's a link to a thread I made about it.

bottom line: Theres NO WAY you are going to gain that much power on a stock or even fully bolt-on 2V. Without ported heads and stage I or II cams you're wasting your money. Not to mention we have no idea what compression the test car had.

Good thread.

Take no offense to the thread closure. Let's keep content in as few places as possible to make searching easier for the next guy. :)
