Contributing factors to weak starter:

Bad or poorly connected/corroded grounds and ground straps.
Bad or poorly connected/corroded positive wires.
Old/burnt start solenoid.
Old Starter.
Weak/old battery (3 years for most).
Excessive heat from aftermarket headers.
Excessive exhaust heat from a lean running condition.

Crank cold start no hot start meaning drive around and turn off wait 3 hours then start

Ok. There are a few sensors that will cause that. Have you pulled codes?

Next time it won’t start when hot, depress the gas pedal to the floor. This puts the ECU in “flood clear” mode and will not fire the injectors. It may start now, especially if one of the failed sensors is causing an overly rich condition.

I still think he means that the starter won't roll over when it's hot.

Incomplete sentences seem to be a theme this week. :O_o:
