Hey Guys, I just joined after poking around here from time to time, so I thought I'd just say hi!

I've been a huge Mustang/Ford fan ever since I was a kid when my mom worked for MM&FF and I'd get to read all the issues for free... but no mustang yet, although recently I've started more actively looking since it seems like everyone around me has one! So if you know anyone in the New England area selling a 94-95 5.0 with a 5 speed let me know!
thanks...

Welcome to the 94-95 forum. Good luck finding a Mustang. Shouldn't be too difficult.

i recommend getting a pretty beat up 94-95 for cheap so you can pick and choose the parts you want. I did that but replaced most of the parts before i really could decide what i liked

Welcome!

I am from North Attleboro, MA. I lived there until I was 8 and then moved to FL. I was surprised to see your location lol. I go back every year with my family to our summer house and there's hardly any stangs around up there.

hardly any?? you kiddin, there are like 5 on my street alone! (i could name them off the top of my head too... silver 03 cobra, a 94-5 yellow GT, a 94-5 green gt, a teal hatchback, and a white 99) thats whats pushing me to find one, well that and my friend just got a 65 coupe that he's restoring.

What do you have against 93?

Thought I'd ask since it was the only year you singled out!

Well I figured I def wanted mass air and a good hp starting point. Then I read that 93's had cast pistons(vs forged) and got 20 less horespower (205 vs 225). You have a cobra though so thats a different story(235 stock I believe).

the 93 were rated at 225 on a GT and the 94-95 were underrated at 215, we actually have the same as them Foxes. Dont get lost in the rumors yet bro, you are just getting started

Yeah I've heard that too about the pistons. I'm not sure how acurate that is. The Cobra I know is different, but as far as the GT I think they were rated a 225. I also pretty sure that the same engine was carried over to the 94-95 models. Not too sure, but whatever you decide I'm sure you'll be happy!
