I was wondering if those wheels are ligther then my old stock 16'' ponies ? Those are about 20lbs each, do you know anything about that Stangfreak95 since you had some stock ponies aswell before the 03s

Looks good.

They must be 9" so why 245 on the front ?

Have you seen how the front looks ?

245 is not made to fit there , go back to your tire shop if he recommanded it to you and if you choose this set up your self there is not much you can do.

275 all the way around ( like stock on 03's ) you'll be able to rotate them . You must know Mustang tires have tengency to wear more on the back , we still don't know why ...

Don't be upset but the car will look better and do a search , a 9" rim requires a 275 wide tire if not the rim will stick out but worst the tire wall doesn't sit the right way ( see your pictures) it's strectched out.

What you guys think

My 03 17x9 chrome wheels weight 35pds EACH !! Not because it said it on the box or something. Simply because I had them on a scale back then. And the stock 16" I think they are about 20pds each I'd say.

When I went from my 17x9 chrom 03's with 245 on front and 275's on back, to Weld Prostars 15x4 with 165r15 and 15x8 with 275's on the back, I saved 102 pounds believe it or not !

I don't really care bro, I don't street\drag race with it, I know it's streched out but I don't have the money to get 2 x 275 that's why I went with 245s in front.. It fits, it's just that I have almost no rims protections so i'll have to be extra carefull for curbs... And Ted from Mustang Direct recommended me that setup

That is fine but I will have suggested you a different set up , a few more buck up front but cheaper on the long run since you can rotate the wheels and wear everything evenly.

Your car looks good and very clean , black cars are nice

Thanks man, it's indeed very clean, doesn't see any rain and snow. Don't worry, my next tires in front will be 255s or 275s.

Negative. In my case, it's rotational mass (weight), not dead mass. So its good for more

I did mine and it cost nothing, they're nice and crispy clear now I could help you restore your lights... 800, 1200 wet sanding, glazing/polish, etc... Are you on v8quebec.com?
