Hehe. Went to the track today, finally. After putting in the new smaller cam, I was expecting a little loss, and maybe, possible to hook up. The local track just sucks. Vht, no prep, nuthin'. So I fill the tires to 28-29 psi and head to the track. It has felt great around the street since the roller perch mod. Front end comes up, usually tires stick. Can't ask too much from the street ya know. SO I get there, do my burn out just ubtil the tires start to smoke and quite. Pull up to stage. Light comes down, I nail it. " Holy $&#* it stuck !!" I remember this feeling. Really missed it. No slip, no chirp, just an honest to god DEAD HOOK. I get to the shut down, make the turn around and remember I never deflated my tires. I was still running 28 psi. Now after a small burn out in front of my shop I realize the rims are just too wide for the tires and it causes the middles to bow up with too little air pressure. So I drop tire pressure a little and my another pass. 60 ft drops. I think ok, it was a fluke I hooked. So I go back all the way down to 13.5 psi....worst 60 ft of the day, 2.1. Theory is comfirmed. Get smaller rims, or slicks made for 10 in rims. But good god. Either way. i would have laughed at anyone telling me they hooked on 28psi. I would have laughed and told them they didn't have more than 65ft/lbs of torque. So the perches are now proven at the strip. Worked better than I ever imagined possible. Change the strut rods to roller, lower the shocks so they aren't the limiting factor, and I may be able to drag race in the rain.

Did you use the roller bearing perch or the bronze bushing perch?

I used the roller, latamud.

Rich, I only ran a 7.8 @ 88.40 mph. I dropped the psi on the second run and it got slower. Jetted up for the third pass and the mph on the timeslip said 5.49 mph. So I don't even know if the jet change did any good at all. Good ol Qualcomm.

Yeap the f-cam. I figure if Brent can get 1200 to the rear, I can break a block with it. Sorry, dude. It totally slipped my mind that you may have wanted in the group buy. Did you get in in time ? Mine should be on the way Monday or so. Already have the t4 flange, wastegate, and exhuast housing. Have the floats done already, and bigger needle and seats, and the oil filter relocation pieces, and all the flanges are welded to pipes and waiting. The nitrous kit is now off, ( tear ). Just sent out a money order for 3 ic coes from t-birds. This build ought to be some time consuming fun.
