New Seat Head, V6

So I love the seats in my new ride EXCEPT the stupid head on the seat (you know, the bit that goes up and down). That thing is tilted forward like 45degrees for some reason, I guess to look racy. Problem is that it is super uncomfortable that way. Vertical or a slight tilt would be nice.

Anybody know if you can change the orientation or get an aftermarket head (not the whole seat, just the top part)?

push on the back of it. It's adjustable.

just tried... doesnt seem to be. Remember I have a base model v6

apparently they only got adjustable the second half of 2012. I wonder if I bitch at the dealer they will get me the correct ones. Anybody know how much the ford parts are?

Hey there - we actually solved this problem back when the 05-09's were getting these complaints.

I appreciate it but I really don't want to have to pay 230 dollars to solve something that should have been fixed in the first place, if I can at all avoid it. Also, my car has cloth interior (which I actually prefer to leather).. and you only seem to have leather seat heads.

Bend the F out of it. Anything metal is inherently adjustable.
