Just got in my new rotors from Rotorpro. Slotted Cobra fronts and GT rears both with painted hats. Can't wait to see these on the car. I'll probably put them on in the spring. :nice:

And for good measure, a shot of the winter rims ready to go on (you can see they have a mild corrosion prob going on :rlaugh: but damn they can bling when they are on the street! )

How bad are the old rotors you are taking off? I am thinking about getting the brake upgrade soon and would like to know where you got them and what to expect.

Thanks,

Matt

They just don't come painted at all. They are bare cast steel. Originally the Brembo's did come from the factory with painted hats but i think they stopped this to save some cash with the cheap upgrade kits.

I painted my own hats when i did my rotors and they have been fine. I did the front side, the backside and the edge of the rotor with high temp engine paint. It's been 6 months and driven in the rain and they still look like new.

I've been thinking of some rotorpros rotors myself. They are pretty cheap and look good. I would get the crossdrilled zinc plated rotors, but the OEM Brembos just offer more performance and are more durable.
