Go for it if you can handle the looks. Personally, without a good body kit and some stripes, I don't think they look that great. Certainly, it's a dramatic departure from the 99-04 which had more of a race car look. As far as functionality, the new model is definately going to be more refined. Occasionally, some do however prefer the feel of the 99-04. Bottom line, if you loved the appearance of the 99-04 than you may miss it terribly. If you like the form of the current model and don't mind departing with the cash, than by all means upgrade because it's functionally a significant jump.
