Absolutely not.

You would have to be an experienced mechanic and have specialty tools for the job. It will cost around $500-$600 for a gear swap.
If I were you, I would do a stall converter and gears at the same time.
A stall will make that auto come to life.
Be ready to spend around a grand on it though.

Congrats on the new mustang bro

Yeah dude, autos can kick ass too! I only have new software in my auto and it makes a big difference. J-mod and stall and your car will become an animal!
As far as gears you need a pinion angle gauge and depth gauge as well as some other stuff. You will disassemble and reassemble it a few times till its right. As a novice I would not dream of doing gears myself, too easy to screw up. You could break gears or cause bearing failure, hell, best case you just end up with an annoying whine in the rear
Have your dad do it if he has done it before. If he hasn't then take it to a shop. I know mechanics that have worked on cars over 20 years but they still wont do a rear end

Dude, go with 4.10s and that's that. I just installed mine, they feel awesome. No problems with them on the highway, in fact its more fun. As far as the speedo gear, i think youll need a reflash, older models are the ones that can be recalibrated with a speedo gear.

i paid around 150 for frpp gears, 230 install, and 379 for the xcal3. to give you an idea of what you need to save up

Move the spoiler back,,, I know you dont want to drill holes but the old hole will be covered and it will look so much better. I did it on my 99 and i couldnt believe how much better it looked. your wheels are off a 05 or later they are set in more then the 99s. I would get new wheels and tires. 10s on the back and 9s up front. At least lower the front a little. Do love the color. I dont know what the temp plug is my 03 doesnt have that.

Just the ones going down the rear bumper. When the shop did them they stopped at the trunk so I just finished them off

Why?
*gets ready to be bashed for the stripes again*
