A friend of mine took his stock 94 mustang gt to the dealership for starting issues. The car has a mind of its own when it comes to starting. Sometimes it will start and sometimes it wont but it always cranks. The dealership told him that the pcm isn't telling the the injectors what to do. So they told him that it would cost $750 to replace the pcm.
I would like to know if it would cheaper and better for him to just buy a Tweecer and load the stock tune oppossed to paying $750 to have the stock pcm replaced considering that he plans to modify his car in the future. Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.
