New sunroof weatherstripping install failed me

I just bought a sunroof weatherstripping kit and I installed the glass weatherstrip and noe the sunroof will not close. Anybody heard this before? Any tips will help. Thanks.

is the rubber kinda hard....maby needs to sit in the sun to soften it up...maby get someone to push down on the glass from the outside while you latch it shut.

It is a real tight fit. Spray WD40 on a rag and wipe the new felt and push it down. After a day or so in the sun it will go up and down normally.

Make sure that the prongs are all the way in the roof.

5.0 Resto has a sale on them now. Both weatherstripping for $89. Been wanting them for a few years now, so I jumped on it.
