Hey All, I currently own a 96 Mustang GT. I’m in the market for new tires, currently I have 225/55/16. I’m looking to change the tires sizes (same rims) slightly to a 245/50/16. Does anyone know if there any clearance issues. Or where I could go to see what my options are. The car’s suspension is completely stock. I did a side-by-side tire comparison chart and there was a .7 inch difference in width. It doesn’t seem like much, but I don’t know.

I have 255/40ZR18 Front and 275/40ZR18 Rear on my 2000 GT. No clearance issues. Make of that what you will. Cheers.
