ok so i just bought a 1995 Mustang GT has cold air/cobra manifold/exhaust. Other than that **** i don't know much else to do except maybe headers. Just seeing if yall can give me some idea's money is not to much a problem, well after i pay my ticket lol, but other than that i don't want to spend more then 1000 at a time. I will wait for that **** to come unless it will add a lot of HP.

Welcome!

The guys will have no trouble helping you spend money.

Gears are never a bad way to start out - you get a pretty decent bang for the buck.

Otherwise, post up your goals and habits. I.e. if you want a corner carver, a straight-line car, tons of power, aesthetics, etc etc.......

Good luck.

Yep ... I'm with JT

You gotta be more specific about your goals :Word:

We got LOTS of knowledgeable peeps here

So many that ...
In any specific area of modding your Stang ...

You can get some good, valid, accurate, info that is gonna work

NOT ... Info that has just been passed around over and over

THAT DOESN'T WORK

Buy gears 1st. Peroid.

I've decided to do it last (cause I can't do it myself) and its KILLING me.

But yeah, set your goals, full exhaust and gears.....

Ah, sure you can....it's not rocket science. Just do some reading, get the proper tools, and go for it. Next thing you know, once word gets out, you'll have your buddies asking to set up gears for them.

No programmer like the newer cars, you have to burn a chip or use another form of tuning like the PMS. I would say gears would be the number one mod on the list besides that a set of frame connectors should be somewhere in there as well. I have 3.73's in my Cobra and like them, but they were in the car when I bought it, I may have gone with 4.10's had it not already been done. There is a lot you can do with these cars, just make a plan and build toward it.

At the motor or RW's?
Constant HP or just on-demand (i.e. nitrous)?

We go to different shops for different types of parts. It depends what one is looking to purchase. In searching you might come across a couple of threads by the fox boys. They put together lists of their favorite places to buy stuff.

If you'd like to self-tune, Mr Grady , Wes and a few others can be of great assistance (especially with the RT and the ancillary items that go with an RT).

Good luck.
