New to the board-intake question

I just picked up a 98 4.6 GT and it has a coolant leak. It looks like it is the front of the intake. I talked to a couple mechanics and it looks like this is a common problem, Is this correct?? Does anyone have one laying around so I can get the leak fixed temporarily til I can afford something a little better????

Hey John....

You were informed correctly. The Plastic runner on the pre 99 is prone to cracking. I still have my old intake from when I did my intake swap if your interested. It has roughly 40k miles on it. I was saving it just in case, but it looks like you need it more. PM me an offer. If you want to spend a little more cash, you can always buy a PI intake and gain a few ponies. Either way you go let me know and I'll help ya out.
