Well here's the thing with the rims. That's what they looked like last August in Ocean City. Since then, I've had some super bad luck with pot holes. I hit a pot hole which created a very small bend in the lip of my front drivers side rim. Then I hit another one a few weeks later which gives me some curb rash for the rear drivers side wheel. That's not the worst of it...In January, I was driving down a road on my way home and I hit a damn Red Brick in the road which completely messed up the passenger side wheels. It actually hit so dead on it knocked the tire off the rear rim. All of it is fixable.
I got a quote from a local Rim Repair shop who I've done business with in the past and he said it will cost me about $700 to fix the wheels. I also want to get them Chrome dipped because polishing them is a pain in the ass to say the least. Right now my car is on some stock 98' cobra rims. (the pizza lookin' rims). I want to buy a set of 18x9 18x10.5 03 Chrome Cobra wheels but AFS, the only company who supposedly makes them, has been giving me the run around since January saying they don't have an ETA yet on when the wheels will come in. It's been 6 friggin' months and still nothing. It's very frustrating. I found the Cobra rims on this sit "finishlinewheels.com" but nobody apparently has ever done business with them so I think I'm just going to have to wait on AFS to give me an answer. Which could be next year for all I know.
LaserSVT, Your Cobra is Beautiful man. I love the way it looks. One of the nicest Cobras I've seen actually!
Sorry for the long post guys! I promise this will be the longest I'll ever write here haha. Thanks again everyone for the kind remarks!
With Respect,
