I am new to the v8 mustang. I just recently bought a 2000 mustang gt 5speedwith 55k basic option. There is a bbk cold air, granatill mass air meter 80mm, bbk 70mm throtle body; i think 3.73 but not 4sure.Is there a way to find out. After 56 k i through a rod, so my warrenty is puting a new engine in at no cost.i get it back friday. iwant to put a a supercharge on but i dont know if i run a kb at 6psi if my stock parts will hold?lso i was wondering in a 3 core intercooler will be good?lso i plan to add an x-pipe.How make a nice sounding x-pipe?Also i was wondering if nitto was a good grip street tire.any info will help thanks.

you should be fine running a kb at 6 psi, some say you can push 8-9psi but I would stay on the safe side. My upr x pipe sounds pretty good and for $140 to my door the price cant be beat. As far as figuring out what gears you have do a search for a gear calculator or go to dallasmustang.com there is one there. By entering your speed and rpms it should tell you. I wonder why your engine through a rod at only 56k?? never heard anything bad about the nittos.
