New Toys/Way too many projects.

2 new additions to the garage in the last week...

Addition 1. 1989 LX 5.0 Hatch
This car was once my wife's first car. She learned how to drive in this car and her Dad was getting rid of it. It need a lot of love, but we are going to get it back to the way it should be and then build from there.

Ordered new head light kit, door actuators, and a few misc items to get started. I just finished replacing the hatch lifts and was extremely pleased with the outcome. Wheels and tires should be here soon for it and it is going to the painter REAL soon. Then on to the interior and drivetrain. The interior is in pretty bad shape (well by my standards). All of the interior panels are discolored and the seats need replaced.

Addition 2. 2004 F-150 Supercrew
We traded the Wife's 2002 Ford Escape in for it and got it at wholesale price. Blue Book on it was 30,000 and we paid 25,000. 18,000 miles and in perfect condition.

Just ordered a Billet Grill set for it and I am getting ready to order an intake system and get new wheels.

To top it all off, I am in the middle of replacing a bunch of interior parts on a 1978 25th Anniversary Edition Corvette for my Boss.

Yesterday I put the new Drilled and Slotted rotors and EBC pads on the LS

Tomorrow I am getting the battery for the 65 and getting it finished.

Too much fun.

Anyone else have way too many things on their project plates?

Funny, I have a bunch of crap for the 65 that has been collecting dust for over a year. That poor car became the bastard step child for about 2 years while I worked on other people's cars.

Funny how you will stop a current project to start another just because you are getting paid for it. But they did fund a good prtion of the 65. Now I need to get her on the road and to the round up. That is my new goal. to have the 65 at the round up this year. The bad part is how many years I have said the same thing only to repeatedly no-show with the 65.
