Well guys I hit my goal tonight. I just had the 3.73s installed about 2 weeks ago and went to MotorMile Dragway in Radford virginia. Its and 1/8th mile track

Crap I forgot one other thing too there was a 10-15mph head wind
Temp 43
Baro 29.92
Humidity 61%
Just looked up the altitude for radford its 2100ft but thats not the actual track so it should be +or- 100 ft id say

Alright I made several passes tonight my first runs were not good at all on street tires I had the pressure at 35psi to start and I got 2.3 '60s but when i hit second i spun all the way to the limiter and went sideways so i had to back off. i played with tire pressure after that droping it to 30 psi but stil couldnt do better than a 9.3 in the 1/8th
Ok here are a few of my times I through my worst run in there to show you how bad it was spinning:

Worst run:
R/T: .6320
60 ft: 2.8751
330ft: 7.1463
1/8 et: 10.2213 ( i felt like i was driving a civic after that run)
1/8 mph: 76.69

now here are my better runs out of the bunch.

r/t: 1.1067 (must have fallen asleep)
60 ft: 2.1875
330 ft: 6.0572
1/8 ET: 9.0401
1/8 MPH: 78.38

These next two were my last two runs and I was very happy cause i set my goal at an 8.999

r/t: .6972
60 ft: 2.1801
330 ft: 6.0254
1/8 ET: 8.9922
1/8 MPH: 78.63

this was my last run of the night and my buddy told me to call it quits before i was ahead but i had to try to make one more good pass
Bullit ME
.6000 r/t .6237
2.1623 60 ft 2.1996
5.9836 330 ft 6.0222
8.9832 1/8 ET 8.9780
77.25 1/8 MPH 78.85

Bullit was ahead of me the entire time but i just snuck past him at the very last couple feet.

So how do yall think i did i know i need to work on the 60s but my street tires just didnt feel like hookin in that cold weather. But im working on it.(oh and i was launching at 3500 for my 8 sec passes and i slipped the clutch really good.

Very nice . Thats a good time, especially for the 60'. And I know all about traction problems . Sometimes the tracks feel like they are wet all the way down LOL.

Get some DRs, and I bet you could knock off a few tenths EASY.

Good times, you should be able to bring it down a little more too with a good 60'. You're running high 13s in the quarter with 1/8th times like that..

Try launching maybe even lower and riding the clutch further, that seems to score most people the best short times.

+1 for the drag radials, a good set of DRs on some 15" v6 wheels will run about $350 new...
