Went to the track last weekend with my brother and a couple buddys. Got a new best of 13.04@109. So close to 12's!!! I was so disappointed but i still had a great time. My brother took a video of my car making a pass, it gives you a good idea what Magnaflow's sound like. I can't imagine why people say Magnaflow's sound like crap, they are the best sounding muffler out there IMO.

Anyways, here's the video, excuse the crappy cell phone quality.

thats huge mph for 13s, most have had a horrible 60ft, you'd be deep in the 12s with some slicks

They are 235/60/15 mt drag radials. My suspension is not set up for the track very well, there is very little weight transfer. Im definately going to invest in a set of adjustable struts before I go to the track again. My best 60' was 1.87 but it bogged. When it did hook it bogged and when i tried bringing up the rpm's up a little more it just spun so it was a little tricky launching it.

a full slick definatly takes the "tricky-ness" out of launching, just rev the sht outta it then dump it, haha

Drag radials are tough, you really gotta ride the clutch out of the hole, what pressure were you running in them? I'd say the car will run 12.50-12.70 when you get it dialed

Man that thing sounds sweet! I've always liked Magnaflow and have one on my maxima, now I may swap out the flowmasters for a pair! Which model Magna is on your car?

I had 20 psi in them. Like I said, I had a couple launches where it hooked but it bogged because I wasnt launching high enough, but when I did bring it up, it spun. Drag radials are definately tricky when you have a crappy suspension setup haha. Im definately going to get adjustable struts and 2 step before I go to the track again.

Thanks a lot man Ditch the Flowbastards!! You will love Magnaflows, they are a very unique sound, especially on a 5.0.

They are the straight through round mufflers, I think they are the same ones that come with the Magnapack catbacks.
